Marketing Analyst-Content Analytics

Responsibilities:

With the support of a Senior Data Scientist, the Marketing Analyst would be responsible for the following key componants:

  • Performing on-going analysis of L. L. Bean s content while looking for ways to optimize the process
  • Delivering ad hoc analytics requests
  • Building visual analytics tools in Tableau
  • Prototyping analytics tools and methods
  • Developing, validating and maintaining data pipelines
  • Creating memos and presenting findings to senior leaders

Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of marketing
  • Able to draw on principles theories concepts and past experience to determine course of action
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent computer skills with experience using the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong project management skills
  • Effectively communicates (written and oral) to various organizational levels
  • Honed writing skills
  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities
  • Driven to produce results
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively on a team

Requirements:

  • B. A./B. S. degree
  • Experience programming with python
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience analyzing data and presenting findings
  • Ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects and complex processes
  • Ability to communicate clearly to a wide range of audiences

Preferred:

  • Undergraduate/graduate coursework in analytics, computer science or economics
  • Experience with:

    • Predictive modeling
    • Statistical analysis
    • Analyzing marketing efforts

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
