Performance Media Analyst (Social)

L.L.Bean is looking for a Performance Media Analyst (Social) to join our growing Digital Marketing group, based at our corporate headquarters in Freeport, Maine. This position includes primary responsibility for managing L.L.Bean's growing Paid Social program, with focus on driving qualified traffic to llbean.com through Facebook, Instagram, and other emerging social platforms. This is a highly visible role creating and optimizing scalable, industry-leading direct advertising campaigns. Additional responsibilities may include Affiliate, Paid Search, and/or Shopping campaign projects, as this role will work closely with other performance media program owners to drive cross-channel learnings.
Responsibilities
Ensure effective day-to-day management of Paid Social campaigns with the ability to plan, implement, analyze, and optimize quickly and efficiently with minimal guidance.
Support Domestic, International, and Loyalty (Credit Card) direct response campaigns.
Analyze campaign performance to ensure financial goals are met.
Perform daily campaign optimization and bidding decisions.
Work closely with content planning, creative, and customer insights teams to develop and execute robust audience targeting and product marketing strategic plans.
Create, update, and socialize iterative program testing agenda.
Develop and maintain reports and campaign summaries for broad consumption across the marketing department and senior leadership.
Inform and educate creative partners.
Develop and foster relationships with key external stakeholders to drive program performance improvements. Seek out beta opportunities and stay current on all relevant partner product updates and road maps .
Work with Feed Vendor, internal stakeholders, and Performance Media Manager to drive updates and improvements to product data feed.
Health and Safety Requirement: Ensures compliance with the L.L.Bean Comprehensive Health and Safety program by knowing and following all safety guidelines, policies, procedures and expectations. Take immediate and appropriate action to rectify any unsafe conditions. Ensure compliance of front line employees with comprehensive health and safety program.
Qualifications
2-4 years of direct to consumer paid social and/or paid search experience
Proven ability to plan and execute large-scale digital marketing campaigns
Firm grasp on digital marketing theories, techniques, and strategies
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop action plans
Comfortable extracting compelling performance insights and summaries from complex data sets
Proficiency in Excel, Facebook Business Manager, and site analytics tools such as Omniture and Google Analytics
Experience running international and/or omni-channel direct response campaigns a plus
Familiarity with CRM tools used to connect first party data to marketing platforms
Experience with Social ad platforms such as Nanigans preferred
Comfortable conducting attribution analysis, with experience and/or POV on a variety of measurement methods/tactics
Strong bias for action ? ability to take ideas from conception to execution with minimal oversight
Experience managing Affiliate networks a plus
Resourceful and self-motivated approach to work, with an interest in learning and growing professionally at L.L.Bean
Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
Education: BA/BS or equivalent
Experience: 2-4 years

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
