Associate Marketing Analyst

Overview
L.L.Bean is currently searching for an Associate Marketing Analyst to join our Planning and Reporting group in our Insights and Planning Department. Based in Freeport, Maine, the successful candidate will work individually and as part of a team developing and maintaining the corporate forecast -- monitoring performance across key channels, evaluating results through complex reporting and analysis, and communicating performance and future expectations across a wide range of audiences.

Responsibilities
Perform complex analysis of sales and expense performance to support key decisions across Corporate Marketing, Operations, Finance. Identify trends and make recommendations for in-season improvements.
Lead the fiscal pre-season Direct Channel budgeting process, disseminating this forecast to key stakeholders around the company.
Lead the strategic execution of in-season changes to the corporate forecast.
Development of key reports for internal and corporate wide consumption.
Partner with E-Marketing Programs, Web Analytics, Merchandising, Operations, Inventory, Finance groups to ensure cohesive understanding of the demand forecast.
Health and Safety Requirement: Ensures compliance with the L.L.Bean comprehensive Health and Safety program by knowing and following all safety guidelines, policies, procedures and expectations. Takes immediate and appropriate action to rectify any unsafe conditions.
Qualifications
1-2 years prior relevant experience with Marketing and/or Financial analysis (through post-college work experience or internships)
B.A. / B.S. required
Self-motivated and a skilled problem solver
Strong quantitative and analytical skills -- able to draw on principles, theories, concepts, and past experience to determine course of action
Exceptional and proven verbal and written communication skills -- ability to communicate clearly, persuasively, and diplomatically to a wide range of audiences
Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines consistently; proven ability to juggle multiple priorities
Ability to learn how to manage and understand large datasets
Ability to develop and manage relationships internally and externally
Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word
Experience with business intelligence tools (SQL or related) preferred
Demonstrates a track record of achieving ambitious results
Proactive, self-starter.
Ability to take ownership of a goal and deliver results.
Team player, flexible, able to adapt to change
Experience with Tableau is a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
