Temporary Treasury Analyst Position (4 - 6 Mos.)
L.L. Bean has an opening in their Finance Department in Freeport, Maine for a Temporary Treasury Analyst . This position ensures maximum profitability and productivity through corporate liquidity and management of foreign exchange. The position requires a high degree of attention to detail, policies and controls.
Analyze foreign exchange exposures and hedging activities in support of international operations. Perform quarterly reporting to management.
Assist in the preparation of cash flow budget and short-term and medium-term cash flow forecasts
Perform Cost Benefit Analyses and lease vs. buy analysis to support capital spending decisions. Apply fundamental financial knowledge (P&L, cash flow, and cost-benefit analysis).
Assist in managing banking and other external relationships.

Ensures compliance with the L.L.Bean comprehensive Health and Safety program by knowing and following all safety guidelines, policies, procedures and expectations. Takes immediate and appropriate action to rectify any unsafe conditions.
The ideal candidate will be results oriented with the ability to deliver timely, quantitative and qualitative analytical project support. Candidates will have a practical knowledge of investments and capital markets, interest rate and foreign exchange risk management.

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, financial applications and modeling tools
Ability to create and maintain intricate Microsoft Access databases
Practical knowledge of Investments, Capital Markets, Interest Rate and Foreign Exchange Risk management
Demonstrated expertise in applying analytical techniques and tools and statistical modeling methods
Excellent computer skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated
Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
Ability to manage changing priorities
BS/BA with a finance related focus is preferable
CTP is desirable
Available to work full time (approx. 40 hours/week) for 4 to 6 months
Education Level: BA/BS or equivalent Experience Level: 3 to 5 yearsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
