NOTE: Above average computer skills are required in order to learn our Retail systems.
L.L.Bean is seeking customer service minded people to work in our stores. Successful retail representatives demonstrate a positive attitude, an energetic spirit and thrive on being a team player. A love of the outdoors is common among our employees and retail experience is preferred.
Successful candidates will be able to:
Use a computer, keyboard and mouse to navigate between multiple systems and enter data while listening and talking to customers
Use well developed communication skills and enjoy exceeding customer expectations
Prioritize and maximize time - keep busy and focused on sales and service
Work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Warehouse - Freeport (picking, packing, material handler, monogram)
Start dates late summer and fall
In our warehouses, the pace is fast, the work is physical, and the employees are dedicated to getting the right products picked, personalized, packed and shipped on time.
Successful candidates for all of these jobs will be able to:
Walk and stand for hours at a time; these jobs require continuous lifting, crouching, and push or pulling of product and cases
Use a computer, keyboard and mouse to access information and enter data
Maintain a strong customer focus in every task, every day
Pay careful attention to details and meet accuracy standards in a fast paced work environment
Work a variable schedule which will include weekends and some holidays
Call Centers - Lewiston and Portland
Start dates late summer and fall
NOTE: Above average computer skills are required in order to learn our Customer Service systems.
Our call center representatives answer inbound customer calls at a rapid rate and use multiple systems at one time to process orders and answer basic customer questions quickly and accurately. Representatives are also extraordinarily helpful, friendly and considered the best in the business.
Successful candidates will be able to:
Confidently and quickly learn to use L.L.Bean systems and technology
Use a computer (Windows based PC), keyboard and mouse to navigate between multiple systems and enter data while listening and talking to customers on the phone
Use well developed communication skills and enjoy exceeding customer expectations
Keep up in a fast paced work environment
Work a variable schedule including weekends and holidays
