L.L.Bean is currently looking for Sr. Java Developer to join our IS Marketing Team to perform development for a variety of projects including new features for llbean.com, call center front end applications and digital marketing processes. The successful candidate will be someone who is a high energy, organized, process-oriented individual who enjoys working on a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment. This
position
will work closely with the technical leader, developers, and QA engineers.

In this role you will:
Be responsible for detailed designs, development, and test plans for a variety of projects.
Estimate technical tasks and schedule.
Develop and write detailed level designs with an emphasis on robust functionality and performance.
Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed.
The successful candidate will have solid experience in the following technologies:
Recent experience with JEE/JSE.
Recent experience with Ajax, Java Server Faces, ExtJS, Javascript, XML, XSLT, Web
services
, SOAP, and SOA.
Recent experience with SQL and Linux.
Experience with PERL.
Experience with Test Driven Design and Agile concepts.
Preferred experience with Eclipse platform and Websphere Application Server.
Ability to translate technical solutions into business language, and interact effectively with our business partners.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Education Level: BA/BS or equivalent
Experience Level: 5 - 5+years

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
